After receiving a Flip camera for his 11th birthday, Jacob dove headfirst into the art of video production. Teaching himself iMovie, then Final Cut Pro, then Premiere Pro, he took any and every opportunity to learn new things and work on projects, founding his school’s A/V Tech Club, tutoring 3D animation, and teaching a full semester video production class his senior year in high school.
At Missouri State University, he took film and animation courses before being accepted into the storied Electronic Arts program in 2018. In 2020, he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Electronic Arts (emphasis on Computer Animation) and a minor in Film Studies, magna cum laude.
Currently, Jacob is Head of Video at Greater Goods, a home goods company in St. Louis, MO, while also on retainer at Better Noise Music, creating music videos and other content for world-famous musicians.
When not working, you can often find him playing the drums, listening to Rush, watching cartoons, or telling people how much they need to play Metal Gear Solid.
